Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components
A special item can be used to transform specific Pokemon. The upgrade can be obtained by spinning a photo disc and can be offered as a reward during Pokemon GO events.
The Upgrade can also be put in armor, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools to boost their level of use. The upgrade costs Flightstones or crests, based on the type of item.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be slotted into weapons, armor, trinkets, and gathering tools to give attribute bonuses or additional effects while the equipment is being utilized. The equipment being upgraded must have an available upgrade slot to accommodate the component, and most upgrade components require the item being upgraded to be above the specified level. Certain upgrade item s come with special effects that can be seen when they are used. Upgrade components can be acquired through crafting, purchased from karma merchants or exchanged with other players on the Trading Post or salvaged from equipment, or obtained as rewards during games.
There are different upgrade components, each of which comes with distinct bonuses. Universal upgrades, which include gems and inscriptions, can be used on any kind of equipment. They also offer less bonuses than other types of upgrade components. Infusions are used in non-amulet ascended equipment and legendary equipment, and enrichments are used for some items that are ascended back. Inserting an upgrade component will destroy the previous upgrade. The exceptions are glyphs (which can only be used in gathering tools) and enchantments, which are able to be removed and put back in.
Insignias and enchantments will display their name in the hover display of the item, while upgrades that have a suffix or prefix will add their name to the end of the equipment name (e.g. an Radiant Insignia on Tyrian Armor would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The tooltip of an item will show the number of upgrade components that have been added to it.
Glyphs
Glyphs are special characters that can be inserted into an OpenType font to add functional or decorative elements such as ligatures, ornaments, fractions and swashes registered trademark symbols, and ellipses. The Glyphs panel allows you to view and insert these special characters, as well as normal glyphs, such as em dashes, en dashes, registered trademark symbols and glyphs that don't appear in other fonts (such as dingbats).
Each Glyph gives a character boost in primary stats. It also has up to four Secondary Stats that affect the glyph's radius on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a %-increase that is multiplied after other bonuses have been applied except for Speed Glyphs which directly increase the hero's speed.

The Glyphs in your inventory can be activated by selecting them, and then clicking the "enchant" button. This will open a window that shows the Glyphs available to you. Be aware that only the correct kind of Glyph can be applied to the selected item and each weapon, piece of jewelry or armor piece has a different set of available Glyphs.
Glyphs can be upgraded by running Nightmare Dungeons or completing Tree of Whisper quests. The more difficult the dungeon, the higher the amount of Glyph experience you'll earn. Once a Glyph has reached level 15 it can be upgraded using the Glyph Upgrade Altar. Upgrades to a Glyph increases its radius on the Paragon Board by one node every 15 levels.
After a Glyph reaches the desired level, it is possible to activate it. Select it and click the "enchant button". The Glyph that is created will grant its stated benefit, and will also increase the number of nodes within its radius on the Paragon Board. It's important to place Glyphs in the best locations to benefit your game, which is why it's beneficial to prioritize Magic Glyphs early on. The glyphs that are rare could offer double bonuses when certain conditions are fulfilled which is why they're worth checking out for.
Click the cycle widget to alter the view of the Glyphs Panel. Each of these views will display the Glyphs using a different font. You can reduce the number of glyphs by selecting an option under "Entire Font". For instance, punctuation only shows punctuation glyphs. Math Symbols restricts the selection to mathematical symbols.
Rerolling
Rerolling is a method in which you open a new account to give yourself more opportunities to play an item or character you are interested in. This can be done in order to level up faster, or to get better loot such as an additional weapon for your character. Many players will reroll until they have the characters they like regardless of their strength. This could be due to the fact that they like the design or personality.
When you reroll, you need be sure that the changes you are making are safe. You should test locally to see if the patch passes pre-commit and run a Core dev check. It is also recommended to upload the patch to an issue using plain diff (see What is an interdiff? ).
Rerolls could take days or weeks to complete, based on the luck of the draw. During this time, you should avoid enemy camps that are optional to cut down on time. Additionally, you should avoid re-doing any quests that can be completed later in the game. This will save time and energy.
When rerolling, it's important to be aware of the upgrade system. There are a variety of ways to enhance your character's appearance and power. Upgrades, rerolling characters and upgrading weapons are all options. In addition, it is important to know the limitations of the upgrade system.
Rerolling is not a necessary part of the game, but it can be useful to increase the chances of winning an item or character. It is a great option in the case of trying to find the best character to play or if you want to try different builds and play styles.
Sets
A set is a group of objects with common-2 attributes (like the number of eggs in a dozen or members of a class). Sets are used for operations such as intersection, union and differences.
Upgrades can make a set better than it was before. For weapons and armor this means that it gets a higher base defense value and a lower strength requirement and an lower amount of requirement.
Upgrading is a great way to bring popular single-set items into parity with their higher-tier set counterparts. For instance upgrading Guillaume's Face helm to Elite Spired Helm can increase the defense from 217 to 321 while also reducing the strength requirement and level requirement to a lower range.
It's important to remember that not all items in the set are suitable for upgrading. Some sets, like the FB Sorc Whistan's shield and Naj's puzzlers are exceptional in their own right and don't require any upgrades. On the other hand, some items that are BiS and see frequent use (like Goldwrap) may benefit from being upgraded to increase their performance even more. It might be worthwhile to upgrade these items.
