World of Warcraft Item Upgrade and Set Bonuses
The upgrade to an item is an enchantment that boosts the base stats of specific armor or weapons. This includes tertiary stats such as Leech or Speed.

Universal upgrades can be applied to any type of equipment, and offer smaller bonuses than other components that are specific to the kind of equipment.
Leveling
Upgrades allow players to upgrade their items by increasing their levels. The item's "guaranteed bonuses" are also enhanced by the increase in level. Each level upgrade boosts the stats on the item by +1 and gives an additional bonus based on the level of the item. These bonuses can vary from a +1 bonus to +3 bonus, to random buffs or debuffs.
Each item is limited to a certain amount of upgrades. After the upgrade the item is completed, it can be upgraded to a higher-tiered product with the same or greater worth.
This method is extremely beneficial for players who want to acquire equipment with a certain level of stats before having the chance to purchase a new item. The transfer system allows players to avoid wasting upgrade material and is easy to use.
Upgrade materials are collected as players clear their content and can be used to enhance or replace an item. Each item requires a different kind of upgrade material. Weapons require Destruction Stones while armor requires Guardian or Harmony Leapstones. When an item is upgraded, these materials are renamed. For example, Stone Fragments becomes Stones and Harmony Shards becomes Life Shards.
It is crucial to upgrade items to improve a character's performance. However, it is also important to think about how much it will cost. The cost of upgrading an item can be a significant amount of gold which could be better used to purchase new gear. This cost is the reason why it is best to upgrade only the most necessary items in any given circumstance.
This typically means that you first upgrade the weapon followed by the chest and legs, then the helm. item upgrades in this phase if you have the money to do this. This will increase their potential for procs. For instance, a top-of-the-line Throne of Thunder trinket may be worth upgrading for the increased damage from its procs. Rerolling

Rerolling is an excellent way to increase your strength in the early stages, but it's not necessary. Once you've reached the level 6 upgrade goal, it's usually best to reroll and search for the most effective upgrades or save the cash for the next set of items. This will help you to have a strong team at the time you reach the level 9 upgrade goal.
The process of rerolling is similar to the system of leveling up. Reroll tokens are a way to remove any one Level Up option from your item and exchange it for another. Reroll tokens, unlike Level Up do not reset an item's level. This means that if you roll an upgraded item, it will no longer be at the same level and won't be able to enjoy its added bonus.
Players can also make use of a special mechanic, Eliminate, to eliminate any level Up option they have on their weapons or equipment. This is a great option when you've had a bad gacha or you wish to reroll a five-star model. You will need to create an account from scratch or sign in via social media.
In every town, you can visit an Occultist to alter the Aspects or stats of a weapon or armor. This is helpful if want to enhance your epic five-star unit or even if your four-star elite player is giving you trouble.

A set is a collection of items that are similar in a way. Sets are used every day for things like a dozen eggs or a set of friends. They are beneficial because they let you organize things, and also operations such as intersection, union and distinction help you to manage them effectively. Sets are used in many different ways, ranging from organizing music on a playlist to classifying students based on their grades.
In Nioh the game, players use sets to offer special effects for players who wear certain pieces of an Armor Set. These bonuses, also known as Set Bonuses, are comparable to and sometimes better than Effects. While it is not explained in the universe why armor sets have to be worn together in order to create these effects, they can provide some variety when playing the game. The armor sets that have Set Bonuses can be found in various locations throughout Hyrule, including the Dark Moon and Twilight Temple.
Every piece of equipment in a Set includes a set of Set Bonuses that are associated with it. The tooltip near the bottom of the item will inform you what Set Bonuses are available. Set Bonuses are displayed in a box with the red border.
Some of these Set Bonuses are only available to a specific piece equipment. For instance, if purchase the full Phantom Armor set you will receive +8 defense (compared to the normal +3 defense that comes with the majority of gear). Some sets can only be obtained through completing specific tasks or by purchasing them from the Auction House.
It is possible to earn Set Bonuses for multiple pieces of equipment simultaneously. For example, if you own the entire Kestra's Descent set and the appropriate parts of the Twinblade of Shadow you will be eligible for the + version that set's bonus when you meet it.
In contrast to Effects, which change each when you upgrade them, Set Bonuses remain the same, even as the individual pieces of equipment they're connected to rise. If an item's exemplar is too low, the set bonus won't work.
Set bonuses
Set bonuses are unique effects that can be found on an item set and grant a bonus to the player in combat. They give a certain amount of a certain type of stat, for example damage to weapons, defenses or resistances. They cannot stack however, only one of them can be used at any time. The amount of a certain stat is determined by how many pieces of the set are worn, so you can have three chests, one armour and four weapons for instance, but only the one that has the highest bonus will be of benefit to you.

For example, a five-piece Hundings Rage set will give you a total of 400 defense in your gear. This is a huge increase in your gear, specifically as melee characters.

At present, only a handful of sets of gear have set bonuses, and they are only available in the Test Realm, but expect the number to increase when the update is live. For instance, the popular 7 school specific Dragoon's gear will be getting its bonus added to it as soon as the update is live.
Set bonuses cannot be stacked inside a set but they can stack across sets. This is great for those who want to make the most efficient combination of sets. It requires some planning. As set bonuses only affect the shell of the equipment (not the armoring, mod, or enhancement) You must be cautious about where you place them.
It is important to remember that the value of a set's bonus will not change even if your exemplar is greater than three levels below the minimum required for an enhancement. This rule doesn't apply to purple (Very rare) Sets PvP Sets, PvP Sets or Archetype Origin Sets. Their set bonuses are in effect regardless of exemplar level.
